“Our mind is the most valuable possession that we have. The quality of our lives is, and will be, a reflection of how well we develop, train, and utilize this precious gift.” — Brian Tracy
Our minds are incredibly powerful. As a result, it’s crucial that we learn to use them effectively.
We put mind power to work for us when we consistently focus on what we want for our lives. Get into the practice of consciously setting an intention for every activity in which you are involved. Your intention might support efficiency – for example, to complete a job or project by a specific time. It might support your personal growth, e.g., to do something that scares you. Or it might support more soul connection, e.g., to see the beauty in the chaos of your day.
When we set an intention, no matter how trivial it may seem, we are taking the time to consciously choose what we want for ourselves. And clearly, this focusing of the mind is essential if we seek a rich and fulfilling life.
In this clip I address the myth about how we use only 10% of our brain.
“A good intention clothes itself with power.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson
“Mastery of the mind opens avenues of hope. We can begin to reshape our life and character, rebuild relationships, thrive in the stress of daily living, become the kind of person we want to be.” — Eknath Easwaran
